Snow....

Well, if my pictures would ever load i could show you some pictures of snow!! but as the computer is being dumb... >:( 

Anyway,  I can almost not believe that the year of 2012 is over!  or almost over.  tomorrow starts the new year, with new years resolutions and other things to be looking forward to.

woohoo! guess what guys!! I got the pictures to load!! :D

ugg... does anyone know how hard it is to take self portraits? I found it very hard....  I thought this one was the best :) oh well... next year i will have practice more! yeah!!

Favorite Picture Friday

Hello!! It is Friday! Have you ever noticed that a lot of pictures can have a story behind it?? Well most of the ones I am posting today do... :)

This picture was taken at the river beach; about 25 minutes away from my home, so basically my family went there a lot this last summer.

This picture was taken at my aunts house this summer.  this cow was (supposedly) chasing my two cousins and brother around in the forest further past the cow.  My other cousin and I walked over to see what all the noise was about and she left me to go into the forest and i stayed behind and took pictures of these daisies because i did not particularly feel like being chased by a cow at that moment.

This picture was also taken this summer on the 4th of July.  big surprise right? :)

New for Fridays

Alrighty guys I have something special to present!!

I am going to, every friday, do a post called Favorite Picture Friday, and I am going to, every friday, post 3 or so pictures that i have taken in the past up till now that are some of my favorite pictures! Some of them could be from last week or it could be from years ago.

I came across this idea when i was looking through picasa yesterday and realized that i have so many pictures that i just love, so every friday i will share some with you!!! 

It just so happens that all of these pictures were taken in August of this year when i was visiting my friend.

So what do you guys think?

Homemade Hot Chocolate & Fuzzy Socks

There is nothing quite nice as sitting around the house after doing math homework, then drinking homemade hot chocolate with fuzzy socks on your feet.

So...... I've been thinking about Christmas and winter break a lot lately.  Could it be because of the Christmas music that is constantly playing in my bedroom....?  Anyway, I feel like there is so much to do!!!!!!! I want to make Christmas cards, and bake like a hundred different types of cookies!  but i still have school work to do, and my bed room needs to be cleaned, and other work needs to be done. oh well i guess the season will come soon enough!

for thanksgiving, we went for a walk in the woods with family after we had a big dinner at my aunt's.   i was wearing purple flats. not exactly hiking shoes. or tennis shoes.  or shoes that should be walked through wet slippery leaves!   But anyways, i got some good pictures and these are two of them :)

In seems, that we are having a late fall this year because there are still leaves on the trees!!

Halloween

Hello,

I feel so ( I mean SO) bad for not posting anything for a whole month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!

well I am posting now so that is what matters I guess, right?

Well my halloween was good, I walked around with my sibs. while they trick or treated. 

Kylee was a cat and Kirsten was a fairy/princess

Kylee... she's always ready for me to take a picture of her when no one else will let me take one of them :)

I think fall has officially begun now. it finaly rained last night!! WOO!! I have been waiting so long for it to rain!! 
The forcast yesterday said that it was going to, so i had to get outside and take all the pictures on perhaps our last clear sunny day. 
Starbucks in the morning to warm up, and then outside snapping pictures and moving pots to get the perficte shot. :)  
old corn stocks for some festive decorations that we normally never put up.
and paint stained rubber boots on the porch finish the day.

autumn contest entry

Laura at randocology is having a contest...
and here is my contest entry, yes i know that it ends tomorrow.... sorry i couldn't get this in sooner :) but here it is!!!

so my understanding is that you have to write a poem and take a picture resembling autumn?? so here is my poem:

Autumn
something new is in the air
I can tell by the wind in my hair
something new, oh what could it be?
could that be it? something i see?
yes there it is! and there again!
something i'm sure is about to begin.
what is that? the air is turning cold
but wait earth, do not yet turn old.
the trees must change from their shades of green
into the most beautiful colors i have ever seen
be paitient old man winter, and let the colors show
oh, let the earth become a glow
so stand still, watch, and do not run
for autumn has only just begun.

September Moon

so last night, as i was coming in from taking care of our chickens, i saw the moon and it looked so cool!!! i feel like i should tell you a scary story, but i am no good at that :)  

I think last year on  halloween  there was a full moon, and it made the night really fun! my friend came over and we watched a movie while our sibs. went trick-or-treading. it was lots of fun :) 

anyway.... why did i tell you all that???? i don't know :)

i could not think of a better title then that.....

but, i guess that is what my post is about, cookies and flowers..... sooo i guess it's all fine. :)

 i think this one is my favorite one :) i love the colors and the texture. i think these flowers are soo pretty!! :)

and then there are these chocolate crinkle cookies that i made yesterday...

yum......

thats it.

Oh! i almost forgot!! my sister and i made a t-shirt scarf!! it was easy and fun, and the scarf is really cute!! i also made one for my friend!!

Sunsets in Eastern Oregon

Me and my family went to eastern oregon or a few days with other family about a week and a half ago. while we where there, i saw some amazing sunsets, and here are a few of the pictures!!
I love sunsets :) they are so pretty, and.... yeah :)

also, i got some Burt's bees chapstick for my 16th birthday! yay! i can't believe i am 16 now!!!
